Moment Of Truth..

Before I begin my post I have to bitch about something. I don't know if i mentioned this before but I am NOT A MORNING PERSON. I love sleeping in all morning and waking up in the afternoon, otherwise I'll be cranky the whole day, if I woke up against my will that is. Anyway you can imagine what happened to me when I woke up this effing morning to the drilling and banging and scraping of the house next to us. Lucky for me, my room is facing whatever the hell they're remodeling. The drilling sound was so loud it was like they were drilling from inside my very room. GOD DAMN THEM!! I tried to sleep through it but it's IMPOSSIBLE. I dragged myself to my sister's room, it was even worse there. Everywhere i go U can hear the damn drilling and bangning!!! Mother F******!!!!! I went to the 9ala, took to blankets with me and 3alait 3al T.V. to drown out the noise. NOTE: I HATE SLEEPING WITH THE T.V. ON!! AAANNNNDDD the 9ala was soooo bright and sunny which are two things I hate when i wanna freakin sleep! I like complete silence and complete darkness. BUT NO. It had to be noisy and sunny this morning. UUUFFF...so here I am, typing this post.

Ok, now my actual post. Have you heard/watched the t.v. show "The moment of truth". If you haven't, well basically: A man or woman sit in front of the audience with their family present and they have to answer questions like: have u ever cheated on ur wife/husband. Have you ever hit on one of your spouse's friends? Bla bla bla. The person being questioned is connected to a lie detector, so the audience, family, and spouse will know if they are lying or not. I think it's a very very stupid show and I wouldn't waste any of my valuable time watching it. However, it's an interesting idea. Having all your questions being answered. So my question to u is, if you had the chance to hear the truth from someone, have them answer any of your questions truthfully, who would it be? And why? I would pick B and my father.

A Riddle..

He made this riddle just for me..! And i figured it out;p

Look to your left then to your right
Look at what stops the light from entering the room
The 6th rope carries my heart
Inside the white egg the heart lays

He made this riddle based on the room we're in. Each shutter had a small rope hanging from it, and the end had a circular thing hanging from it (hence the egg). There was a guy leaning on the wall against that rope, and i was waiting and waiting for him to move it was driving me crazy! When he finally left, I opened it and in it was a tiny heart he hid there for me. Sweetness..(im still smiling)

My New Obsession

They call me 'hell'
They call me 'Stacey'
They call me 'her'
They call me 'Jane'
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name

They call me 'quiet girl'
But I'm a riot
Maybe 'Joleisa'
Always the same
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name

Z

My Dear Z

I think about you every night before I go to sleep. Sometimes I have nightmares that bad things will happen. But, I know they won't. Your heart and soul are so pure that I'm sure they will be protected by God. I can't help but wonder how this came about? What caused the deterioration of your soul? And more importantly, why didn't you come and talk to me? I'm here for you, you know I am. Actually, now that I think about it I don't think that you do. I haven't been available for you. At all. I remember when we used to hang out, you used to tell me things. But now when you really needed someone, you didn't have anyone. You're surrounded by so many people yet you're alone. What is the cause of all this?? It's driving me crazy, I need to know. I would have done anything to make it avoid you. But now, it's all in your hands sweet heart. Only you can fix this. I'm sorry. I really love you and miss you. And now you're going so far away for so long. Stay strong for us and for yourself. I'm going to pray for you every night.

The Prince Of Fashion

A young man in his mid thirties, Sheik Majed al Sabah, nephew to the Emir of Kuwait, is impeccably turned out, handsome and well spoken. In April 2002, ‘the prince of fashion’ made headlines when he opened his second store in Kuwait City, with a three-day, $500,000 party. Guests included Stella McCartney, Dominico Del Sole, Carla Fendi and fashion journalists from all over the world.

His creation, Villa Moda, is one of the most luxurious shopping emporiums in the world. The store, which lies on the outskirts of Kuwait in front of the seaport, is a large glass box resembling an aquarium.

Majed’s success wasn’t overnight. When he first went into business in 1992 he found European designers reluctant to get involved in the Middle East. He laughs ‘I approached European companies and they thought I was going to sell clothes from a tent in the desert’. Pent up frustration at the world’s ignorant perception of his people, led Sheik Majed to strive to improve Kuwait’s image overseas. It seemed inconceivable to Westerners at the time that there could exist women within Arab societies who were fashion conscious and avant-garde.

Majed’s aim to get rid of these misconceptions was by no means an easy task. He still recalls having been made to wait one hour at Giorgio Armani headquarters before being told that they weren’t interested in doing business with him. Even today people still ask him if women in his part of the world would be able to wear ‘short skirts’ or ‘sleeveless tops’ which, he states, can be 'incredibly frustrating'. However, Sheik Majed is dedicated to convincing the West that the Middle East is vast market (800 million people) which, given the right product, will undoubtedly prove to be a very profitable one.

Majed has worked his way from the eighth row to the front row at Paris and Milan fashion shows and has therefore earned the respect of the fickle fashion world. And today Sheik Majed has become the envy of every retailer in the Middle East. Gucci president Domenico

De Sole calls him a ‘phenomenon’ whilst British Tatler magazine has hailed him as a ‘fashion icon’ and made him a contributing editor.

Is any one else turned on by him? ;p
